Description Cashflow for Kids

Play the game "Cashflow for Kids" and learn important financial and business lessons to help you become successful later in life.

Steps:

1. Purchase or borrow the board game CASHFLOW for kids. You can get this at game stores or on the Rich Dad Poor Dad website.

2. Play the board game with your friends or family members.

3. Talk about what you learned from the game and talk about how you can use the things you learned in real life. For example:

  • What is the "Rat Race"? How is this a difficult way to live?
  • How do you get out of the "Rat Race"?
  • What is an asset and a liability?
  • What is an income statement and a balance sheet?
  • What are the three types of income?
  • How do you convert an earned income into a passive income?
  • What kinds of expenses are optional? What kinds of expenses are essential?

 

4. If there are things that you do not understand that happen in the game ask friends or family members about them.
