Get your kids to create a craft from a box of random supplies. This will encourage your child's problem solving abilities, creativity and ingenuity.
1. Gather a box full of non-traditional craft supplies. For example: bicycle inner tubes, cereal boxes, tin foil, rocks, tree branches, rubber bands, toilet paper, pop bottles etc.
2. Put the box down in front of you children and challenge them to create something with the materials. Possible challenges could include:
