Description Poker

Playing Poker is a great way to enhance your strategic skill.

Steps:

1. Learn the rules of the game and the value/odds of each hand. Here is a cheat sheet that you can use to help you understand the rules.

2. Once you have the basic grasp of the game play a few open hands with friends or family. Be sure to ask when you should place bets or fold based on the odds of the hands. You will also what to learn how and when to bluff.

3. After a couple of practice games play a game for real. You could use pennies or poker chips to bet with.

4. After the "real" game talk about good hands/bets/bluffs that you had and think about how you would play differently next time.
