Puppet Show

ObjectiveTo encourage children's creativity and to increase their comfort level when public speaking.
Description Puppets

Have your kids create their own puppet show and present it to friends and family.

Steps:

1. Have your children write a play that they can perform with puppets.

2. Get your kids to create the puppets or use pre-made ones. For quick and easy puppets get a few Popsicle sticks and a magazine. Cut out people from the magazine, glue the pictures to some thin cardboard, cut them out and glue them to the Popsicle sticks.

3. Have the children practice the play with the puppets.

4. Get the kids to perform the play in front of friends or family.

Fun and Easy activity. I found it to be most enjoyable for the 5-8 year old age range. Definitely helps to bring quiet children out of their shells too!
