Liabilities

A liability is either a debt, expense or something that costs you money. Teaching kids about liabilities helps them to to identify liabilities, cultivate a healthy attitude towards debt, as well as to limit their liabilities. It is also a useful word to know because it will help kids understand more advanced accounting concepts such as balance sheets.
